Taking the drive through the rolling farm ground of central Illinois to Kemmerer Village, the first thing you would notice, before even reaching the campus is the magnificent steeple standing tall on the horizon. Through many generous donations the kids at Kemmerer Village have been blessed with not only a place to worship, but also a great cafeteria and campus center.

Kemmerer Village sits on approximately 60 acres from the original Kemmerer bequest of 400 acres in Central Illinois. There are 24 buildings including the original "Big House" which was built in 1914 as the original orphanage. Now that the residents have their own rooms in the newer cottages, the Big House is utilized for office space, laundry and storage.
