Foster Care Case Aide- Kemmerer Village is seeking full or part time Case Aide in the Community Services (Foster Care) Department. Case Aides are responsible for providing transportation to & supervision of family visitation and other appointments. CA'S are responsible for related documentation and case notes, as well as clerical maintenance of client files. Eligible candidates must be 21+, must pass a DCFS background check, must have a driver's license & clean driving record, HS diploma or equivalent. A good candidate will also possess good communication & writing skills, the ability to work with others as part of a team, the ability to demonstrate care & compassion while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries, and the ability to act as a role model even in potentially difficult situations. Residential Counselor- Responsibilities include facilitating positive interactions among residents, teaching and promoting daily living skills, general supervision, and crisis management. Bachelor degree in a Human Services field or Psychology preferred, and experience working with disadvantaged youth helpful. Must be 21 years of age or older and have a current, valid Illinois driver’s license. Drug screening and criminal background check conducted. $11-$13.25 per hour starting wages. 4 day on/4 day off rotating schedule. Full benefit package including medical, dental and vision plans.
Recreation Specialist- Full time opening. Responsibilities include conducting group and individual recreation activities, along with case documentation while serving as a member of the therapeutic treatment team. Bachelors Degree preferred but not required. Previous experience coaching or working with at-risk youth is beneficial. Monday-Friday work schedule with excellent benefit package.
