Community Services Caseworker- Community Services Caseworker's provide supervision of and casework services to children in Foster Care. This individual will consult, plan and communicate with foster parents. Applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Development, Counseling or related field. Must have a Child Welfare Employee License or the ability to obtain license within the first 90 days of employment. Must have Valid Illinois Driver's License. Community Services Case Aid- Kemmerer Village is seeking full or part time Case Aide in the Community Services (Foster Care) Department. Case Aides are responsible for providing transportation to & supervision of family visitation and other appointments. CA'S are responsible for related documentation and case notes, as well as clerical maintenance of client files. Eligible candidates must be 21+, must pass a DCFS background check, must have a driver's license & clean driving record, HS diploma or equivalent. A good candidate will also possess good communication & writing skills, the ability to work with others as part of a team, the ability to demonstrate care & compassion while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries, and the ability to act as a role model even in potentially difficult situations. Hours are generally 11-7, but some flexibility is needed based on needs of the case load.
Residential Counselor- Responsibilities include facilitating positive interactions among residents, teaching and promoting daily living skills, general supervision, and crisis management. Bachelor degree in a Human Services field or Psychology preferred, and experience working with disadvantaged youth helpful. Must be 21 years of age or older and have a current, valid Illinois driver’s license. Drug screening and criminal background check conducted. $11-$13.25 per hour starting wages. 4 day on/4 day off rotating schedule. Full benefit package including medical, dental and vision plans.
