Dan Kingery is an Elder of the Presbyterian Church and a graduate of the Presbyterian Church Camps and Conference Association's Compass Points Program which certifies camp directors.

Dan has been the Director Camp Carew since 2009, serving on the Board of Directors two years prior to that. He also spent 41 years wandering around camp with his youth group from Centralia.

Dan serves as Youth Director at the Effingham Presbyterian church. Dan is a past Vice-Moderator and Moderator of the Presbytery of Southeastern Illinois and a strong advocate and participant in world missions.
